Who is Karboo?
Karboo first came about during the Corona, and as much of you know, my husband has always been a risk taker. Me? Not so much… I generally play it safe, especially when it comes to my finances, so you can imagine that when I stopped working to be a stay at home mom because my husband started to travel for work, it was terrifying when the Corona-craze hit. Our future was up in the air.
After some discussion, sleepless nights, and LOTS of prayer, I began to think… I’ve always had a PASSION for FASHION! You see, I am a plus size girl, but it has NEVER stopped me from playing dress up! I LOVE how it makes me feel when I get all dolled up, even if it’s just to sit on the couch. Now in the past, I had always dreamed of starting my own boutique, and I had mentioned starting one up more times than I can count to my husband, so I decided NOW was the best time! Karboo was born!
The world is so ugly at times, and as a wife and working mother, we tend to let ourselves go. We fall into making sure we have everything and everyone taken care of, and forget to take care of ourselves. I myself at times have even let myself go… However, one thing I know for sure is that there are three things that make me feel better: prayer, makeup, putting my outfits together, and oh let’s not forget about… that glass of WINE! With these things in mind, I started Karboo with the intentions of it being more than just an online boutique. I want to BRING SEXY BACK to the hard-working women!! Whether you’re a college student, working momma, single, divorced, grandma, or stay at home mom, all roles are different but very important! I want YOU to feel beautiful and sexy in my clothes no matter the size. God made us beautiful, and I want you to FEEL IT. I want you to LOVE yourself!
In the future, I have plans on giving back to the women in our community. We should always give back when we can and volunteer in our community when we can, and I want to put YOU in the spotlight! I want to let you see how others view you. WE can be the light when the world gets dark. WE can lift one another up. WE can support each other, and most importantly… LOVE one another. How will I do this? You are about to find out!
